Dean Z.Fröhlich, guest lecturer E.Ilić, and Senior Lecturer K.DaytonMs. Egli Ilić presented a guest lecture to students during Leadership Skills course on Thursday, March 29 on the topic:

Charismatic leadership – leadership that makes the difference

Charisma - a personal magnetism built upon one's authenticity, and ability of a person to connect with other people on deep emotional, physical and intellectual level is a magic ingredient to success in every area of life, and is especially valuable feature in leadership.

The challenges that the companies are facing today have never been so big, and today, more than ever, we need leaders who are able to see further than the apparent reality, who are capable of anticipating things that have never existed and mobilizing others into making these things a reality.

The essence of charismatic leadership is in emotional influence, and leaders who are able to reach employee's emotions, by offering them a meaningful reason, a higher purpose behind a set vision are able to motivate their employees into making the vision a reality.

Because of the strength of leader's personality, and ability of a leader to inspire adoration and confidence among others, companies led by charismatic leaders will preserve their leading positions on the market for years, and will remain successful even at times of crisis.
